Course details

This course is the perfect training solution if you love cinema and want to know more about the Italian scenario from its beginnings to contemporary films.

The course aims to provide an insight into Italian cinema combining language tuition with tailored activities. We will focus on a single director and analyze the main features of one of his works.

We will meet once a week for 3 consecutive weeks. Each session will last 90 minutes and be structured as follows:

First meeting:

Introduction about the director through images, videos and/or short biographical background.

Second meeting:

We will explore a selection of scenes of the film and focus on several comprehension activities.

Third meeting:

After everyone has watched the film, we will have a group debate guided by a list of questions received before the class.
